The Salah El Din Citadel, where Egypt’s kings ruled until the mid-19th century, is included in this one-day trip to Old Cairo and Coptic Cairo. Known as the Alabaster mosque, the Mohamed Ali Mosque is located inside the walls of the complex. Your private tour guide will pick you up from your hotel. You will visit Salah El Din Citadel, constructed by Salah El Din on the Moqattam hills in 1183 AD, to defend Cairo from the Crusaders.
Later you will visit Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque, designed by the architect Yousif Boushnaq for Mohamed Ali, Ruler of Egypt (1805-1849), who ruled for Over 45 years.
Then you will visit Old Cairo, where you will enjoy the Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, and Church of Abu Serga, and go back to the hotel. Continue driving to the Islamic Cairo area, where you can explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s old bazaar.
The tour includes visiting the Perfume Palace, Papyrus Institute, and an Egyptian cotton shop factory.

Children Policy
The children’s policy applies to children who share a room with their parents. If your trip includes a flight ticket, additional fees for your children may apply.
- Children under 2 years of age can travel free of charge with their parents.
- From 2 to 6 years old: 25% of the adult price
- From 6 to 11 years old: 50% of the adult price
- Children aged 12 and over-travel at the same fare as adults.
Deposit
Once your itinerary is confirmed, we will collect 25% of the agreed final trip value as a deposit, which can be paid via Online Payment, PayPal, or Western Union.
Tipping
Tipping is part of the Egyptian culture to express one’s satisfaction with the good services provided to him by his duty staff. It would be nice to give it when you are satisfied with our services and if not then you don’t have to do it.
Cancellation Policy
Important Note: If your trip includes a domestic flight or a Nile cruise, know that there is no refund for the booking value in the event of cancellation of the trip according to the policy of Nile cruises and airlines companies.
